The Best Lebanese BBQ

With summer around the corner, it’s time to fire up and learn some new tricks to show off at your next barbie.  And if you’ve never experienced a Lebanese BBQ, this class is your opportunity to start sizzling…

Using our special grill called a “Man’qal” or “K’enoon” (depending on the region) you will discover why a Lebanese barbecue is like no other.  The aromas permeating from your backyard will have your neighbours begging to join you.

To compliment this feast of a barbecue, I will also demonstrate how to make the best garlic sauce – “TOUM”.  Translates to garlic and once processed with oil & lemon, it makes the most amazing mayonnaise style sauce that you cannot live without – you will be hooked!

So, what’s on the menu you ask? 

 

- Lahem Mishwi – lamb kebabs

- Kafta – mince, parsley, onion & spice skewers

- D’jaj Mishwi – marinated chicken

- Batata Mishwi – marinated potatoe discs

- M’akanek – you will sample these authentic Lebanese sausages from my favourite butcher

- TOUM – garlic sauce and to cool down with, an authentic salad is essential

You will also take away a small sample to enjoy at home
